As part of their expansion plan AFS Technologies now run Mechanical Joint Integrity (MJI) training services to expand on their current ECITB approved training portfolio of Small Bore Tubing (SBT), Process Operations and Instrumentation & Control.
Luke Gascoigne, former owner of Gastech-NE will join AFS Technologies as Lead MJI Instructor. Luke stated “Bringing the assets and capabilities of Gastech-NE to AFS Technologies provides the Energy Industry with a truly independent provider of training and services focussed on Mechanical Joint Integrity competence.
Gavin McGill (Training & Commercial Manager) said “The addition of MJI training strategically expands our portfolio of training courses and technical tests which can be booked on our new online training portal. “
The MJI training and technical assessments will be offered at their Aberdeen, Dyce training facility initially with plans for Teesside and Grangemouth. The company had realised a 45% increase in sales in 2019 and during 2020 has focussed on building a platform for future growth.
